Recommendation for color refreshing

8-12 weeks

• Wash your hair in cool water.
• Use sulfate free & color safe shampoo.
• Wash 1-2 times per week max.
• Apply heat protectant before hot tools.
• Medium to low heat when blowdrying.

• Wash with Hot Water. (This fades color fast!)
• Use clarifying or dandruff shampoos.
• Swim in chorine or saltwater.
• Over wash your hair.
• Skip heat protectant when styling.
• Expect vivid colors to last forever without maintenance.

Your K-Tip hair extensions were custom installed to give you the length, fullness, and confidence you deserve. With the right care, your extensions will stay beautiful, smooth and long-lasting.

Treat them well. Brush with love. Wear them confidently.

Remove and new install recommendation 8-10 weeks

• Brush you hair 2-3 times a day using an extension safe brush.
• Hold the hair at the root while brushing to avoid pulling on the bonds.
• Use sulfate free and moisturizing products.
• Blow dry the roots/bonds after washing.
• Braid your hair or put it in a loose ponytail before bed.
• Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase
• Schedule regular maintenance appointments.

• Wash hair immediately after professional install. Wait 72 hours.
• Brush or pull of wet hair
• Apply oils, conditioner, or mask directly on the bonds.
• Use clarifying or alcohol heavy products near the bonds.
• Go to bed with wet hair.
• Overuse heat without heat protection 
• Try to remove extensions yourself.

Move up and reinstall recommendation

6-8 weeks

• Brush you hair 2-3 times a day using a extension safe brush.
• Always support the row while brushing to avoid tension.
• Brush from the ends first, then work your way up.
• Make sure to brush underneath the row to prevent tangling or matting.
• Use sulfate free, color safe shampoo and conditioner.
• Blow dry weft and foundation immediately after washing and conditioning.
• Put it in a loose braid or ponytail before bed.
• Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase.
• Use heat protection when styling.

• Go to bed with wet hair.
• Use heavy oils or conditioner directly on the beads or stitching near the weft.
• Over wash your hair.
• Use clarifying shampoo to often.
• Try to remove or tighten the extensions yourself. 
• Color you hair extensions at home.
